With the Fall of the Wall, dull Berlin-Mitte became a melting pot for young people from all over the world. Alexa von Heyden, was born in 1978, is a fashion journalist and author. She writes for Journelles.de, one of the leading fa-shion blog in Germany, and has already published two novels.

Sandra Semburg is a fa-shion- and lifestyle-pho-tographer and blogger. She now lives in Berlin and works for magazines such as Bazaar or Cover dk, as well as campaigns for Zara.com and P&C.

Esther Friedman was born in Mannheim, Ger-many, studied German li-terature in New York and started a training in pho-tography in West-Berlin in 1974. She got to know Iggy Pop in 1976 and do-cumented his day to day life since. After her time with Iggy Pop she beca-me a gallery owner and consultant for art collec-tors. Daniel Haaksman is a Berlin based DJ, produ-cer and runs a music la-bel and works as a music journalist. Stefan Weil is the neigh-bour of Esther and con-vinced her to publish her story.
