What is FORCECOM?
The Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM) is the United States Coast Guard's first command solely responsible for all individual and asset-level training, including boats, cutters, aviation and shore units.
FORCECOM is charged with the current and future readiness of the Coast Guard's workforce -- Active Duty, Reserve, Auxiliary, and Civilian -- and operational resources to ensure they will be ready when called to execute their missions.

What does FORCECOM - Training Division do?
Develop and maintain plans and policies for the CG training, education and development programs to reduce capability gaps and enhance readiness.
Improve operational readiness by standardizing evaluations for unit readiness, and by enforcing configuration control, standard procedures, and compliance measures.
Provide supervision to the Training System Units
Coordinates overall Training System activities

Coast Guard Tuition Assistance (TA) Program
Eligibility Requirements:
Enlisted - Course must be completed prior to RELAD, discharge, or retirement
Officers - 24 months continued service upon completion of course
Civilians - 3 months prior government service & 1 month continued service for
each completed credit hourReserves – Must be assigned to drilling status (SELRES) and
maintain satisfactory drill status

Coast Guard Transcripts are evaluations of a person’s total educational and occupational experience. College credits are assigned by evaluating an individuals military learning experience, non-traditional education, and Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Educational Support exams.
