Referendum on electoral reform Deadline extended until December 7 The voting period for the 2018 Refer- endum on Electoral Reform has been ex- tendeduntil 4:30pm on December 7, 2018. “We have worked closely with Canada Post to understand the full impact of ro- tating strikes on the referendum process,” said Chief Electoral Officer Anton Boeg- man. “Rotating strikes have impacted ac- cessibility. As a result we have extended the deadline to ensure that voters are not prevented from participating through no fault of their own.” Voters are encouraged to return their completed voting package as soon as pos- sible to ensure it is received by Elections BC before 4:30pm on December 7.
