1. PURPOSE OF THE QUOTATION

Robotic system supply for plasma cutting of profiles

This quotation is aimed for supplying and commissioning of an automatic installation for plasma cutting of rectangular and square profiles. To be defined.

2. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Feeding system 2.1.

Square and rectangular profile feeding system for length up to 10 m bars and 200 x 200 mm of capacity.

The system consists of:

The entry feeder is formed by 4 groups of motorized chains where the material is placed. The entry feeder swing through pneumatic cylinders to take the profiles to the roller bed.

Roller bed: bars advancement system with a motorized pusher with precision reducer and controlled by robot

external axis motor. This pusher has a pneumatic clamping jaw that is fixed to each side of the bar to be cut. This pushing kit moves along a lineal guide with helicoidal precision zip.

Cutting cabin 2.2.

2.2.1. Robot M20iA

Anthropomorphic robot fixedly mounted on the cabin structure. Industrial robot FANUC brand, model M20iA whose characteristics are:

The i Pendant and/or programming unit is completely ergonomic of portable programming with illuminated screen, in color,

with seven keys of application, double lever and function keys, states LED and emergency stop. The length of the console

cable is 10 meters.

The robot has specific plasma cutting software that allows correcting any deformations of the bars during the cut. In the same

way, the robot is able to locate the piece to start the cuts through a contact searching option. With these two options we can

absorb the deviations in the positioning and material deformation getting the best result.

2.2.2. Plasma cutting equipment

Kjellberg Hi Focus series represents extremely high quality of cut. The pieces only can be cut with perpendicular flat and smooth surfaces, they do not require to be touched after the cut.

2.3.1. Pneumatic-hydraulic grips:

Hydraulic clamping system of pneumatic activation for the registration and bar clamping in the cutting area, with solid rollers which allow the bar movement during clamping and cutting. We also have a laser sensor for the detection of the bar beginning.

2.3.2. Cutting derdger:

Inside the cabin, there are piece and left over elements evacuation system made of a stretch of motorized and retractable rolls which support the dredger during the long pieces cutting and the small pieces evacuation. This dredger can divert them to the collecting and storing containers. We also have an internal dredger to withdraw the cutting left overs and scraps.

2.3.3. Closed coverage:

Cutting cabin where the Fanuc robot is placed. The robot is equipped with the plasma cutting system and it will be held in the superior front of the entry of the bars to be cut on a machining welded structure.

The cabin will have a thermal glass window and access door for cleaning and maintenance.

Fume suction filter and filtration 2.4.

All TECOI machines incorporate suction systems ECOTEC with cartridges of the latest technology Flame Retarded from 6 to 32 cartridges and powers from 7,5 kW to 32 kW.

It is available with sparks- killer system and ATEX regulation. It can also be equipped with SILENTEC.

Other auxiliary TECOI filter equipment is the DUSTEC a dust collector with high capacity and reliability that solves the problems of dust extraction filter suctioning automatically and periodically up to a central of large capacity.

The ECOTEC filters incorporate the latest advances in filtering technology. Due to this, an optimal purification of the cutting gases is achieved.

The filters are responsible for collecting the gases produced during the cutting process and return them to the outside environment in a non-harmful state.

These filters are monitored from the machine-tool panel control or from its electrical board located in the premises’ wall.

Each filter has an automatic cleaning system that avoids maintenance in the short run.

The filter ECOTEC 6 is ideal for the composition of the MB machine and is characterized by:

Evacuation system for large pieces: 2.5.

For removing finished large pieces we have a motorized solid roller bed 10 m in length which carries the piece to the feeder zone, with 4 swing groups, with the possibility of evacuation very long bars in the feeder area.

Cells control 2.6.

A software license for PC is customized to work as an interface between the operator and the installation.

This interface has the following characteristics:

A descriptive concept image of the installation elements.

Specific cutting programs to each piece. From buttons and windows, for the data entry, we have access to all the cell

elements, thus a quickly and intuitively sequence of actions is generated.

Additional generation of cutting programs for each family through predefined and parameterized macros.

Work orders are created from programs already created for each piece, work orders are created also using buttons

and windows, specifying the quantities to be manufactured and the pieces input and output areas.

AUXILIARY APARAMENTA FOR PREVENTION OF DANGERS

All of TECOI’s machines are designed, constructed and installed with the necessary elements to comply with the European machine safety regulation. The machines have to be certified in compliance with regulations once installed in the customer premises. Therefore, TECOI takes responsibility of the necessary corrective measures that apply in each individual case. These extra measures will be reflected in the machine’s instruction manual that is submitted after the start-up of the installation. TECOI considers that the final measures to adopt in each case depend on the requirements of each customer. In some cases, customers prefer adopting more individual protection solutions, and in other cases they prefer equipping the installation with risk prevention or minimization elements. Thus, the protective elements added and the works to be carried out in the installation cannot be foreseen at the time of preparation of the present quote. Therefore, TECOI will prepare along with the customer’s Health & Safety department a study of the measures to be taken, after which it will be able to quote the costs for this execution.
