GPBC COOKBOOK Volunteers have begun to prepare the GPBC cookbook. Our prayer is to have it prepared & published by Christmas. This is a GPBC project to include ALL ages and what a blessed way to celebrate our 45th anniversary of Green Pines in May 2015. Recipes are needed from you, parents, grand-parents, youth & children ASAP. Each recipe contributor should provide no more than 5 recipes. SOUND AND LIGHT TEAM We still need a couple people that will work with our sound and a couple of people willing to serve as back up for lighting, spot lights and video recording. Please see Bud Dyer if you feel God calling you to this ministry.

SECURITY If everything goes according to schedule, there will be significant secur i ty improvements made concerning the church access control p r o g r a m w i t h i n t h i s n e x t week. These changes will result in all existing keys not working any longer. Electronic locks with key fobs will replace our current system. The electronic locks will allow us greater flexibility and security to protect our children, adults, and property. Adapting to this new system will take time and we ask that everyone remain flexible during the transition period.

GEMS/RA’S FOOD DRIVE GEMS and RA’s are learning how to “Bring the Message” as they are studying Isaiah 6:8. They will be working together to stack our Food Pantry but they need your help! We will be distributing bags on Sunday, September 7 to fill up. Please see insert for list of needs.

KIDS CLOTHES SWAP Join us Sat. Sept. 27 to swap your gently used kids clothes and shoes. Sizes newborn-10 years. Drop off and register at the church office Mon, Sept. 22—Thurs. Sept. 25, 8am—5pm. Come back Sat. Sept. 27 at 10 am to pick out what you want. Get the same amount you brought. Leftovers will be donated to Dream Coat Ministries here in Knightdale to help local families.
