Reconditioning With O.E.M. Wear Parts...A WABASH PROCEDURE

Wabash’s shop personnel disassemble the mill completelydown to the frame. All components are inspected for wear.The mill is then rebuilt and reassembled with NEW WEARPARTS installed as required such as grinding rolls, grindingring, liners, fan blades, housings, shafts, gear parts, feeder

parts, bushings, etc. All work in the rebuilding process isrecorded and checked for proper fit and O.E.M. tolerances.Mill and all relating components are then thoroughlycleaned, sandblasted, primed, painted,, and properlypackaged and skidded for shipment.

BOWL MILLSFOR COAL PULVERIZATION IS THE MOST PREFERREDAND UTILIZED MILL. The capacity in #/hr. of the mill iscalculated on the assumption that the coal hardness is 55on the Hardgrove Grindability Index and has a moisturecontent of 8%. This would then produce and output basedon 70% of the coal passing through a 200 mesh screen.

Mills are capable of grinding harder coal with higherpercentage moisture content and can reduce the productfineness in excess of 90% passing a 200 mesh screen at areduced output capacity. IMP MILLSThe imp mill is extensively used for processing andpulverizing of many materials. Typical grinding applicationsinclude CLAY, GYPSUM, KAOLIN, TALC, PIGMENTS,

STARCHES, LIME PRODUCTS, OXIDES, INSECTICIDES& LITHARGE. Available capacity size range: 2,000#/hr.(#10) to 20,000 #/hr.(#63).

VERTICAL MILLSThese mills are designed for super fine grinding andproducing products in the sub-sieve range. Two differentsize models are available (18” and 35”) and providecapacities from 100#/hr. to 1,000#/hr., fineness 95-100%

finer than 5-10 microns. Materials which can be pulverizedin the vertical mill include GRAPHITE, TALC, COCOA,LIMESTONE, KAOLIN, PHARMACEUTICALS, andVARIOUS FOOD PRODUCTS.
