    PARISH EVENTS IN OUR PARISH & ELSEWHERE Condolences Charles Hodges, passed away on March 8, 2018. As a parish we share the pain of the loss of Charles with his family. May God grant eternal happiness to Charles and comfort to his family. Stations of the Cross Stations of the Cross will be at 11:30 am on Fridays during Lent in the Church at St. Mary. The Daily Mass on Friday will immediate-ly follow. There will also be Stations of the Cross at 6:30 pm in English and 7:00 pm in Spanish on Friday evenings at St. Mary. Stations of the Cross will be at 5:30 pm on Tuesdays during Lent at Holy Rosary. The 6:00 pm Daily Mass will follow. Bulletin Deadline Bulletin submissions for the April 1st bulletin will be due on Mon-day, March 26th at 10:00 am. All submissions must be in writing and may be emailed, faxed or delivered to the parish office. No late entries will be accepted.     Holy Week Office Closure The parish office will be closed on Holy Thursday, March 29th and Good Friday, March 30th. KC Fish Fry Fridays KC Council 6366 will have Fish Fry Friday Dinners on the 2 re-maining Friday’s of Lent. Plates will consist of Fried Fish with all the trimmings for $10 each; to go only pick up at the KC Kitchen. Plates will be sold on March 23 & 30 pick up will be 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund. Easter Lilies If you’d like to have an Easter Lily placed in the church for your loved one please return the envelope located on the table at the back of the Church by Wednesday, March 21st to the Parish Of-fice. We have 18 Easter Lilies on a first come first serve basis. Life after Death Join Ablaze on Wednesday, March 21st, 5:45 pm - 8:00 pm as all are invited to join Ignite, Journey, and their families for a night of praise and worship, adoration, and a talk on "Life After Death" given by Alyssa Trutter. We will kick off the night with a potluck

    dinner in the PAC at 5:45 pm. All are welcome and please bring a dish to share! Easter Egg Hunt St. Mary’s Women’s Club will sponsor an Easter Egg hunt at the church on Saturday, March 31st starting promptly at 10:00 am. We will meet at the back of the PAC. Children ages 0-12 are invited to come and enjoy the fun! Be sure to be there on time or a little early to avoid missing out. They go fast! BBQ Chicken Plates The St. Mary's Women's Club will have BBQ Chicken Plates which will include twice baked potatoes & green beans (prepared by our KC chefs!) on Sunday, April 8, 2018, pick up at KC Kitch-en from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. The plates will be $10 per plate and pre-sale only. Tickets will be available to purchase from the Wom-en's Club members after Masses for the remaining month of March. Members will either have a table set up outside the front doors selling tickets or you can purchase them in the gift shop. Proceeds will benefit the club's scholarship fund and youth sponsored events throughout the year. KJT Scholarship The St. Benedict KJT Society 100 will again be sponsoring schol-arship opportunities to St. Mary's and Holy Rosary parishioners who are graduating seniors and will be attending a university, col-lege, or technical school during the next school year. Applications can be found on the back table of the church or with the Caldwell High School counselor. Please see the application for details. The submission deadline is Friday, April 13, 2018. Altar Society Scholarship The St. Mary’s Altar Society is offering scholarships for 2018 graduating seniors who will be attending a university, college, or technical school in the next year. Applicants must be members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. All applications must be submitted by Sunday, April 22nd. Applications are on the back table of the Church and are also available at the Caldwell High School coun-selor office. Any questions call Eleanora Mynar at 567-4181. Knights of Columbus Scholarship Knights of Columbus Council #6366 is offering scholarships for any 2018graduating senior who is a member of St. Mary’s or Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Applications are available on the table at the back of the church. They are also on CISD web page and can be obtained from the High School counselor, at Caldwell High School. Applications must be turned in by Monday, April 23rd. For more information contact Jerry Zavodny at 324-0753. Women’s Club Scholarships The St. Mary's Women's Club will again be sponsoring scholar-ships to graduating seniors who attend St. Mary's and will be en-rolled full time at a university, college, or technical school during the 2018-19 school year.
