Shredding Event Ever Members and Non-members Participate to Avoid Identity Theft

VIENNA, Va. (September 17, 2012) – Back by popular demand, Navy Federal Credit Union’s Fall Navy SHRED-eral Day is planned at a record-breaking number of 53 branches across the nation on Saturday, October 13, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hoping to spur members and non-members toward identity theft protection, everyone from select cities at 16 states can come and shred up to four boxes (12” x 24” in diameter) of personal documents.

Navy Federal asks participants to bring paper products only. Commercial products, CDs, disks, or hard substances not accepted.
