For Immediate Release Local Brothers Open Classic Chamber Concerts’ 2016-2017 Season Naples, FL – 12/15/16 – Classic Chamber Concerts will launch its 22 nd season with an Opening Night Celebration featuring guest soloists Joseph and Samuel Peliska at 8 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016, at The Sugden Community Theatre, 701 – 5 th Avenue South, Naples FL 34102. They are accompanied by the Fifth Avenue Chamber Orchestra, William Noll, Music Director & Conductor. Currently a junior at Pepperdine University in California, Joseph returns home to preform Vivaldi’s Concerto for Guitar & Orchestra in D major. Before moving to California to continue his education, he studied classical guitar with Rafael Padron at the University of Miami and has had the opportunity to work extensively with local music organizations in Naples, including the StayInMay Festival. Older brother Samuel will delight listeners with Mozart’s Concerto for Clarinet & Orchestra in A major. He enjoys an active career performing music throughout the southeastern United States. He serves as principal clarinet of Sinfonia Gulf Coast and performs frequently with other orchestras and opera companies in the state of Florida, including the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera Naples, and the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra. Peliska received a Doctor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from Florida State University, as well as his Bachelor’s Degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Dr. Peliska is also a founding member of the Coreopsis Woodwind Quintet, which has engaged in educational outreach performances and community service projects throughout the southeastern United States. “It’s a true pleasure to have the Peliska brothers as the featured soloists for our season’s opening night,” states Maestro Noll. “Not only are they Naples natives, but masterful musicians who embody our mission and will no doubt delight the audience with amazing performances.” Season subscriptions as well as single tickets for the Classic Chamber Concerts’ Opening Night Celebration are available by calling The Sugden Theatre box office at 239. 263.7990.
