IN FRANCE

A great number of City councils put their confidence in LeblancIlluminations for Christmas lighting. In 2008, the town of Puteauxwas illuminated with animated spheres and Christmas trees,Leblanc Illuminations took part in Lyons Festival of Light andLe-Mans was visited by Viking ancestors, and also Versailles,Nantes, Toulouse, Reims, Chartres, Amiens, etc.

IN EUROPE AND AROUND THE WORLD

- Made in France -Leblanc Illuminations ‘French Touch’ appealed to many international markets; Canada, Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco to name just a few. Leblanc Illuminations is also present in the imperial cities of Morocco, in Mauritania, Ivory Coast, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.

1958 Michel Leblanc, owner of Leblanc Illuminations®, was thefirst in Europe to produce illuminated motifs on wooden frames fitted with porcelain lamp holders.

1960 Illuminated motifs were built on aluminium frames forthe first time. This new process allowed a greater diversity ofcreation, increased longevity and an excellent size/weight ratio.

1975 Leblanc® maintains its position as leader and achievesreal success with the creation of decorations with modulablelampholders, patent registered in 1967.

1988 The rope light gradually replaces lampholders for creatinglight decorations.

1991 Leblanc® invents the Flore-Leb, a PVC decoration forlampholders, allowing decorative displays during the day aswell as at night, winner of the ANVAR award for innovation.

1996 Leblanc Illuminations® anticipates the need for energysaving, becoming the first manufacturer in Europe tointroduce LED (Light-Emitting Diode) garlands in its illuminations.It introduced the Popsicle LED, Cerise LED, Twinkle LED(red, green and yellow LEDs)

2002 Leblanc® illuminates Marrakech for the wedding of hishighness King Mohamed VI.

2004 Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium (Wales) was illuminated with11m high motif designs from children’s drawingsLeblanc Illuminations® displays all its know-how in a 600 m2

showroom.

2005 At Nanterre, Leblanc Illuminations® manufactures a wireless synchronised animation with 60 “Tiara” decorations, an exclusive patented system.

2006 7 giant snowmen (12 m high) each lighted with over46,000 LED Pea-Lights, were placed throughout the UK in the cities of London, Manchester, Cambridge, Birmingham, Brighton et Norwich.At Laval, Leblanc Illuminations® launches the first interactiveanimation in which the spectator becomes a participant.

2007 Adorned the Arab World Institute in Paris with lights forthe building’s 20th anniversary, with more than 1.5 km of whiteLED Neon Flex.

2008 Leblanc Illuminations® celebrates 50 years of design and innovation. LCX Leblanc Chromex® becomes Groupe LCX® SAS.At the 2008 Lumiville trade show, Leblanc Illuminations® is thefirst in Europe to present a 4 m x 1 m RGB video decoration,in collaboration with its partner company CSI.

Out of concern for the protection of the environment, LeblancIlluminations® carries out constant research and offers a familyof products which are more economical and more easily recycled.Leblanc Illuminations® also tries to minimise its environmentalimpact throughout the production process.

80% of the environmental impact of the products aroundus is determined at the design stage.On the strength of this concern, since 1996 LeblancIlluminations® has focused its attention on LED products,which allow energy savings of 70% compared toincandescent bulbs.

Cost-efficient LED products are also easy to recycle andcontain no hazardous substances, in conformity with Europeandirective ROHS.Leblanc Illuminations® is a member of organizations involved inrecycling Electric and Electronic Component wastes.

LEBLANC ILLUMINATIONS® IS COMMITTEDTO PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

ENERGY PAC

In collaboration with the ADEME (French Agency for the Environment and Energy management), the RegionalDirectorate for Industry, Research and the Environment,the Pays de la Loire Regional Council and the Le MansChamber of Commerce and Industry, Leblanc illuminations®

has implemented an energy PAC, a Collective Support Programme on energy.An independent expert is providing support to Leblanc Illuminations® to implement actions which will reduce its energy consumption and to carry out a carbon audit.

Leblanc Illuminations®’ decorations are 95% recyclable. Special attention is paid to recycling the materials used in thedesign and manufacture of its decorations in order to minimisetheir environmental impact.

4 500 trees planted in 2008Supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as part of its campaign “Plant for the planet: the billion tree campaign”, this initiative has already seen the Groupe LCX® plant:

� 4,000 trees in the Mata Atlantica forest in March 2008

� 500 trees in the Sainte Victoire massif in November 2008

Leblanc Illuminations® is actively involved in a CO² emissionsoffsetting programme strictly in accordance with the UnitedNations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Along with awareness-raising initiatives within the company,Leblanc Illuminations® has launched a reforestation programmedeveloped by EcoAct.The programme is taking place in the Sainte Victoire Mediterranean forest near Aix-en-Provence and in the Mata Atlantica tropical forest in Brazil, designated a «World Biosphere Reserve» by UNESCO.

On request, Leblanc Illuminations® provides its customerswith a carbon compensation certificate in recognition of thenumber of trees planted.
