Whether you’re looking to book at one of our prestigious independent boarding schools or one of our BSC centres you can be sure that each location will offer Young Learners a unique experience.

2. Academic Excellence

We use an innovative, communicative approach to teaching and all our teachers are qualified to teach English as a foreign language (CELTA, Trinity TESOL or equivalent). Lessons are fun and interactive with a high level of student involvement as each class has a maximum of 15 students.

The safety and well-being of our Young Learners is our number one priority. We are dedicated to ensuring our students have a safe, happy and enjoyable stay.

4. Nationality Mix

In a typical year we welcome students from over 80 countries including Italy, Germany, Russia, France, Spain, Thailand, China and Brazil. When Young Learners study at BSC they receive a truly multicultural experience and make friends from all over the world.

Our programmes focus on more than just teaching English. Students will develop a range of skills which will help them through life. Greater confidence, communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are just some of the benefits of choosing one of our English programmes.

Additional Inclusions

General English plus sports and additional programmes also include 6 hours coaching per week in one of the following: tennis, adventure sports, golf or horse riding (including all equipment).

Exploring London programme also include 5 half day excursions supervised by our staff.

Extra dates outside the summer

Outside the summer, we can also organise Young Learner courses for closed groups at our year-round schools in Brighton, London, Oxford, Manchester, York, Edinburgh & Dublin. Please contact us for more details or for a tailor-made quotation. These courses include:

• 1 full day excursion per week

• Use of academic course book and additional materials

• First day placement test

• End of course certificate

Unaccompanied Minors

For students travelling as an unaccompanied minor (UM) with airlines, there will be a charge of £120 return. This will ensure there is a named person to meet and greet and sign for UM students.

Insurance

Before arrival, it is mandatory that students take out insurance for their own financial and personal security. Please contact us for information on our insurance policy.

For your information, there will be an added premium for the horse-riding element on the insurance – This will be £22.00 per week. So in summary: Course with horse-riding - £22 per week City Football - £30.00 per week Everything else - £7.00 per week

ALL OUR SPRING AND SUMMER YOUNG LEARNER COURSE FEES INCLUDE:

English language programme of your choice

Accommodation option of your choice, either full board residential or full board homestay (Summer only)

Action-packed weekly activity programme with fully supervised activities every afternoon and evening

Minimum 1 full day and 1 half day excursion per week (specialist programmes may differ)
