Based in the heart of the Midlands, our skilled technicians have been manufacturing orthopaedic footwear for over 5o years.

Trulife believes in a patient centred approach to footwear design and manufacturing, priding ourselves in offering an extensive choice of footwear solutions for patients affected by a wide range of foot and health issues.

We offer a modular range where clinicians are able to choose from a variety of lasts to suit their patient’s specific needs. Our custom range is manufactured using traditional and technologically advanced assessment, measurement and manufacturing techniques.

The most common cause of accidental trauma to the diabetic or at risk foot is ill fitting footwear. Trulife footwear offers a diabetic specification option for selected styles.

This is clearly indicated with our diabetic

Prices

all orders are subject to acceptance by Trulife. all prices are (unless otherwise stated) exclusive of VaT which will be charged at the rate applicable at the time of invoice, unless a valid VaT exemption certificate (available from customer services) accompanies the order. Whilst every effort is made to maintain prices, Trulife reserves the right to increase the prices at any time in accordance with the latest published price lists prior to despatch.

Payment

cheques etc should be made payable to Trulife. payment is due 30 days from date of invoice. interest on overdue accounts will be charged at 3% per calendar month. prepayment is required by non-account customers and private individuals.

Trulife will do its best to meet delivery dates and quantities, but accepts no liability for the consequences of any delay or non-delivery.

claims

any shortage, damage or discrepancy against shipments must be detailed in writing, together with a copy of the packaging list, to Trulife within 7 days of receipt of goods. all claims for goods lost in transit must be received by Trulife within 7 days of despatch of Trulife’s invoice for such goods. claims cannot be considered after this time.

return of Goods

Goods will only be accepted for return under the following conditions provided that they have not been specially ordered and manufactured. prior to returning goods, telephone authorisation must be obtained. Goods must be returned within one calendar month from the date of the packing note. The packing note/ invoice number must be included on the return advice. The goods must be in their original packaging, in a clean, resaleable condition. Trulife will not be responsible for return postage and packing unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied. except when goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied all returned goods will be subject to a 20% handling charge, with a minimum charge of £10 plus VaT to cover administration costs. if the packaging is damaged an additional flat rate charge of £2.50 plus VaT will apply to cover repacking costs.

ownership of Goods

The product shall remain the sole and absolute property of Trulife, until such time as the customer shall have paid the agreed price, together with the full price of any products subject to any other contract with Trulife. Trulife reserves the immediate right of possession of any goods to which it has retained title as aforesaid, which rights shall be exercisable if the customer has become unable to pay its debts as they fall due. for this purpose the customer grants an irrevocable right and licence to Trulife, its servants and agents to enter it’s premises, with or without vehicles, during normal office hours and thereafter. Trulife reserves the right to re-distribute the products.

Product improvement Policy

Trulife reserves the right to change specifications, packaging or withdraw products in the interests of continuing product improvements. e.&O.e.

conditions of Sale

it is a condition of sale that any orthopaedic product purchased from Trulife is restricted to use only by the originally fitted patient, in order to protect the care provider and the patient against potentially adverse consequences of infectious disease transmission or material instability resulting from previous use by the original wearer. any express or implied warranties are voided if the product is re-used for another patient. any orthosis purchased from Trulife must be prescribed and applied by a qualified clinician to ensure that it meets the needs of the particular patient and accomplishes the desired outcome.

This directory is a representation of styles and finishes available to order. depending on foot shape and size, the finished product may look different to the catalogue. The cost price is based on the individual specification as requested by the prescriber - details are available on request.

Trulife concludes contracts for the sale of products only on the following conditions.

1 / This image show two adaptions, they may be prescribed individually or combined. external toe protector, also known as ‘external toe cap’ and external rand protector.

2 / forefoot rocker with compensating heel raise. (note that a compensating heel raise will not be added as standard and will have to be requested).

3 / Tapered raise. please indicate heel, joint and toe heights when prescribing a raise.

4 / sneath heel. May be medial or lateral. it is a rigid, external reinforcement.

5 / external cork raise, leather lined.

6 / heel float (medial). floats can be added to heels and soles either medial or lateral.

7 / Thomas heel. May be medial and lateral. Often used in conjunction with floats.

8 / single below knee calliper with heel socket and T strap.
