Being a college football coach you can make a huge range of money.
It can be from about 15,000 dollars to big amounts of millions dollars per seasons.
There are many jobs open each year, because when a coach may have a couple bad seasons in a row they will get fired. So every year someone has to lose after every season there are a lot of open jobs.
In the winter of 2011 in January some division 1 jobs that were open were Florida, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Miami, Texas Tech, South Florida
