Breakfast served at all High Schools, 5 Middle Schools and
16 Elementary Schools
Two high school production kitchens
5 trucks deliver meals to the 21 elementary schools daily and IPHS
o 12 schools served from Metea Valley (11 Elementary and IPHS)
o 10 schools served from Neuqua Valley (All Elementary)

Annual Food Service SurveyMonday, February 19th through Friday, March 2nd
Survey results will help to identify:
Student preferred lunch items
Student satisfaction with common menu offerings and new flavors they would like
offered
Specific reasons why students decide to eat or not to eat meals at school
Student perception of performance across key food, customer service, and dining
environment attributes (such as taste and variety of food, line speed, and staff
friendliness)
Students’ thoughts about making healthy choices and the most effective methods
of communicating nutrition information to them

Elementary Schools
Students in the Chromebook pilot took the survey in class during the window the survey was open
Schools sent the survey link to families so all students and families had an opportunity to take the survey
Schools had the option to add the survey link to their schools webpage
Middle Schools
Schools administered the survey during the school day to students during the window the survey was open
Schools made an announcement during morning announcements
Schools had the option to send the survey link to families
Schools added the survey link to their schools webpage
High Schools
Schools made an announcement during morning announcements
Students were able to take the survey when they chose
Schools had the option to send the survey link to families
Schools added the survey link to their schools webpage
