  • 3. Morning in Alabama.You take a deep breath and just before you go to work in the field, you are goingto eat a rich breakfast.You usually eat grits,fried bacon and eggs, toast and fresh made jam.
  • 4. Hot day in Alabama.The sun is in the sky, and after 7 hours of hard work, you will may have a lightlunch.This lunch will include fried green tomatoes and bacon, a little slice of ham.(Dont worry. Green tomatoes are good for you and for cooking)
  • 5. The end of the day.You put your legs in hot water and for few seconds you relax.But, a good evening is not perfect without a great dinner!This grand finale includes: chicken that your grandparents brought, fried and seasonedwith special spices. Super fresh fried corn (the kind of food that you have justpicked from your garden). Boiled okra and a lot of spicy and sweet greens.Now, you have the time to talk with your family about the past day and have a deepsleep.
  • 6. But, the kitchen in Alabama at that time was not so good.You could see there a lot of strange equipment that today You would probably call itjunk. You could find there some very cumbersome kettles, very heavy pots and morethings that you just can not explain.
  • 7. Dont worry!The gourmet lovers that are somewhere in the room will find some fancy restaurantsthat wouldnt do shame even for the Michelin restaurants!The Silvertron Caf , The Brighton Star Restaurant and White Villa Restauranthave been serving some well known dishes for more than 80 years!
