Engineered for PerformanceCarboline’s floor coating line offers outstanding protection for the Food & Beverage industry. Our products are resistant to a wide range of chemicals used within the industry including a variety of acids, oils and detergents. Carboline’s urethane cements contain Polygiene® technology, a time-tested solution proven to inhibit the growth of bacteria and molds and to guard against the surface degradation and odors caused by these microorganisms. These exceptional antibacterial properties remain active for the lifetime of the floor providing durable hygienic performance and reduced life cycle cost.

USDA Compliant Flooring Systems:Carbocrete™ SeriesAntimicrobial, urethane cement flooring systems with outstanding resistance to moisture vapor transmission. These unique floor systems incorporate durable aggregate to provide a flexible, high wear surface for Food & Beverage process and storage areas. They resist concrete cracking and maintain monolithic protection in medium to severe duty service conditions. Carbocrete systems can handle any situation. This urethane cement technology includes: › Self-leveling, slurry-broadcast systems › Rake and trowel-applied systems › Heavy fill systems › Slip resistant, slurry-broadcast systems › Coving mortars › Sealers

Carboseal™ SeriesThe Carboseal coating systems are primarily for light to moderate and some heavy-duty service. They can be used for more decorative applications and can incorporate colored quartz or mosaic vinyl flakes for aesthetically pleasing systems or broadcast sand for slip resistant surfaces. The Carboseal offering includes: › Water-based epoxy coatings › 100% solids, self-leveling epoxies › Clear epoxies for quartz broadcast systems or topcoat › Trowel-applied epoxy mortar for high abuse areas › Polyaspartic coatings with fast return to service

Tough Finishes for Tough AreasOur wall and ceiling coatings have been built to meet the unique needs of the Food & Beverage industry. From block fillers to primers and finishes, Carboline has the solutions for problem areas in the harshest of environments.

Waterborne Finishes:Sanitile AcrylicsA heavy-duty single component, satin finish, water based acrylic finish with excellent application properties and color stability. Primarily used for light duty service.

Sanitile WB Acrylic-EpoxyA heavy-duty acrylic-epoxy finish with good overall applicability. Used where exposures are moderate to more aggressive. Most resistant to yellowing caused by UV exposure.

Carboseal WB EpoxiesA high performance, water-based epoxy finish with excellent overall product characteristics. More durable and chemically resistant than acrylic-epoxy blends. For light, moderate, and heavy-duty service.

Sanitile Epoxy Finishes:Extremely ultra-durable, high-solids epoxies with outstanding film properties. Sanitile finishes offer excellent overall chemical resistance, durability, and have outstanding color and gloss retention in a pleasing, high gloss finish.

Sanitile Fiber Reinforced Systems:An ultra-durable, solvent-free, easy to apply epoxy system with excellent overall chemical resistance. May be applied in 2-3 coats directly to masonry surfaces for speed of application and economics. No VOC and low odor features make them desirable for in-service operations.

Block Fillers/Sealers:Sanitile® WB AcrylicWaterborne acrylic filler/sealer for light to medium duty service. Has superior performance over PVA-based sealers.

Sanitile WB EpoxyA high-performance water-based, two-component epoxy filler/sealer for concrete block and other masonry substrates that is used to fill and seal porous surfaces. It provides additional system strength and resistance to a wider variety of chemicals and cleaning procedures.

Sanitile High Build EpoxyHigh performance, solvent-based epoxy block filler/sealer. Provides the highest system strength and resistance to chemicals and cleaning procedures.

Sealers/Bonding Primers:Multi-purpose primer/sealer for drywall, concrete board, Masonite or other “porous” flat-panel type materials of construction. Useful as a bonding coat for ceramic tile, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals like aluminum, copper, and galvanizing. Accepts solvent-based finishes.

Protecting Your Product... and Your Customers!Carboline linings prevent corrosion and maintain product purity in process and storage tanks. Linings that meet FDA regulations or have been certified for compliance to ANSI/NSF Standard 61 are available to handle your needs. Lining selection, construction details, surface preparation and product installation are critical factors to the long-term performance of your lining system. We can provide engineered systems to minimize risk.

FDA Approved Tank Linings:Carboguard® SeriesThin-film epoxy linings designed for mildly corrosive service in potable water, process water, and mild chemicals normally operating near ambient conditions.

Plasite® SeriesA specialized series of ultra high performance linings that have been developed for extreme chemical exposure, high pressure applications and higher temperature service. This series includes single-coat, high build and solvent-free products with fast cure properties for rapid return to service.

Reactamine® SeriesElastomeric polyureas and hybrids are ideal for concrete protection against a variety of exposures due to their crack bridging capabilities and elongation properties.

Steel Surfaces - Up to 200°F (95°C)Carboguard EpoxiesThese epoxies provide outstanding chemical barrier protection for steel surfaces.

Carbothane® SeriesThese acrylic polyurethanes have outstanding color and gloss retention against UV exposure.

Worker Protection and Insulation Needs - Up to 350°F (177°C) Carbotherm® SeriesIdeally suited as a protective heat barrier to shield personnel from hot areas. It also stops condensation from forming on surfaces and therefore minimizes corrosion.

High Temperature Protection Up to 1000°F (538°C) Thermaline® SeriesThermaline products include silicone, engineered epoxy and inorganic polymer products designed to provide corrosion protection of high temperature surfaces. Systems include those designed to protect from Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) as well as atmospheric exposure.

Semstone® SeriesA wide range of epoxy, novolac, and vinyl ester based technology that includes aggregate-filled and reinforced systems designed to handle aggressive chemical exposures, high abrasion and impact damage. Design details are available to handle sealing and protection around cracks, control joints, penetrations, junctions, tank rings and the like.

Reactamine SeriesReactamine elastomeric polyurea and hybrids are ideal for concrete protection against a variety of petroleum based products due to their crack bridging capabilities and elongation properties.

Secondary ContainmentSecondary containment of chemicals, wastewater or fuels is required by regulations. Commonly used concrete substrates present a challenge for owners to protect. Our specially designed systems and experience help ensure complete and long-term protection of the concrete and provide chemical containment in the event of a spill.

Coatings for Steel, Piping & Process EquipmentCoatings for steel surfaces can cover a wide range of needs from high temperature exposures and overcoating existing systems to handle less than ideal surface preparation (rusted steel). Carboline’s wide range of products ensures that there is a system available for all of your needs.
