Dear Parents,
As a school committed to continuous improvement, Fontainebleau Junior High strives to
provide positive learning opportunities by offering a variety of sports. Within these sports, multiple
levels of participation are available to provide developmentally appropriate instruction and to
maximize opportunities for growth. Eligibility to participate in Fontainebleau Junior High athletics is a
privilege a student earns by meeting standards outlined in the student handbook. Participation in
athletics is an excellent learning tool for developing commitment, responsibility, teamwork, and
character. Our goal is to turn student-athletes into successful young men and women.
Fontainebleau Junior High School’s athletic teams participate in competitive, interscholastic
sporting events. Teams are chosen based on student skill levels and sportsmanship. Coaches and
athletes work hard to make our programs highly competitive.
Parental support is essential in maintaining the FJH athletic program. We need parents to help
