Introduction

I have decided to call my music magazine impact as it fits the nature of the music magazine with the rock/metal genre being reckless and boisterous as it is, the name impact portrays something unique and memorable. I chose this genre because I am a fan of it myself.

This was a good decision because I have a lot of knowledge about the rock genre making it useful for me to experiment and create new ideas for font types. This genre was a good decision because it is well known but only supported often by groups of people with unique view points making my magazine memorable

Font of rock magazines

Bold and often sharp fonts are used in most rock magazines along with vibrant colours either in the text or in the colour scheme. These are used to make memorable effects of their magazines on people.

Decision

I have decided to use broken glass 74 font as it is the most boldly noticeable and loud as well as the shattered affect highlighting the reckless “I don’t care” nature of rock/metal music more than the other fonts I found.
