Flexibility and performanceThe Espero operating handle gives you ultimate flexibility to partition the space you have available using Espero mobile walls. Using the walls couldn’t be easier. The built-in ‘quick-locking mechanism’ that locks with a quarter turn allows you to set up the walls in no time at all. The application of hard plastic wheelsets combined with an aluminium track means the walls elements can be moved flexiblyand quietly. This means that noise nuisance for rooms above ground level and adjacent halls is minimised when the walls are moved.

Wintertuin Hotel KrasnapolskyGrand Hotel Krasnapolsky is a historic hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. What started out as a cafe on a small street in Amsterdam is now a celebrated five-star hotel on the Dam. The magnificent winter garden (wintertuin) designed by Dutch architect Gerlof Bartholomeus Salm is world-renowned. From its opening on 13 July 1880 to the present day the garden has been drawing visitors from around the world who continue to be enchanted by the ambiance of this place. In 1990 major restoration work was carried out on the winter garden with special care being taken to preserve the original elements of Gerlof Salm’s style. The winter garden has been listed as a national monument since 2001.

In 2004, Espero was asked to replace the existing mobile walls that were no longer fulfilling their purpose. This involved a major operation with strict time limits in order to accommodate reservations for the hall. There was a requirement that installation work should cause minimal disturbance as all hotel facilities had to continue running as normal. Installation took place in two phases (track and wall) with a large meeting taking place in between the two phases. The mobile walls allow the space to be partitioned flexibly while ensuring a high degree of sound insulation. It goes without saying in this beautiful setting, the colour, decoration and overall appearance of the walls had to form an integral whole with the existing environment. Espero installed eleven mobile walls that can be used to partition the room flexibly and provided the necessary alcove seals.

Flexibility without limitsThe application of Espero mobile walls allow you to flexibly partition entire floors and so use them for a range of purposes. The same space can be used on the same day to hold receptions, meetings, training courses and for catering and functions all with the assistance of Espero mobile walls.

Visio The Visio from Espero is a slimline detailed mobile glass panel wall. The walls are rimless apart from an aluminium profile at the top and bottom that incorporates the lock and ceiling bracket. The Visio can be fitted with door panels and any surface treatment or decoration can be applied to the glass as required. The track is the same as that used for other Espero walls allowing them to be combined with ease.

Any surface finish can be applied to wall panels as required or a combination of finishes can be applied so that the walls harmonise perfectly with the interior design scheme. The options range from modern and minimalist to warm and traditional, without making any concessions to the primary function of the walls: the flexible use of space.

Individual designThe finish, details and use of colour define the appearance of the wall. The unlimited choice in finishing materials and panels means each wall is unique. This is because each system is produced to your specifications and perfectly reflects the atmosphere you want to create.

Design and operationThe user is at the centre of every Espero design. Walls must be easy for everyone to operate and move smoothly without this detracting from functionality and design features.The profiles and track systems must be as unobtrusive as possible. For this reason, our track comes with ceiling profiles as standard which also ensure there is sufficient clearance between the panel and ceiling to prevent any damage occurring when the elements are moved. It goes without saying that the full range of colour options is available for the track to suit your requirements and fit in with the interior design scheme.Espero looks to users’ needs and requirements as the company continually works on developing its range of products and finishes. Visio 85 Espero has recently introduced an innovation to its range: the Visio 85. An attractively designed, fully glazed sound-insulating mobile panel wall developed to meet the increasing demand for transparency. The wide range of glass finishes means the wall can be fully integrated into your interior.

The Visio 85 is available in a panel wall and a sliding wall version and can be fitted with integrated door panels or communication panels. There is also the option of fitting panels with integrated blinds.
