- Missionaries of the Poor ConcertDuring period 4, the Missionaries of the

Poor will be putting on 2 concerts (for 2 grades at a time) in order to promote their own private concert

Date: November 25 - Period 4Location: Cafeteria or GymPurpose: Mrs. Westmaas would like us to

donate to the Missionaries of the Poor and purchase tickets/advertise

- Jamaica Missions Trip Fundraising -- International Carousel: South Asia

Each month, the Jamaica Missions Team will be hosting an International Carousel, with each month devoted to a different country/continent/region; artifacts and presentation will be put on, and on the Fridays, food from these places will be sold to students

For South Asia particularly, samosas and other delicious food will be sold on Friday, November 19th

Awareness Banner which will be displayed on Monday, Nov. 22nd, and a Fashion club banner which will take the place of the Halloween banner on Tuesday November 2nd. Natalie To and Deborah Ramcharran are in charge of these banners.

ECO Will be selling Samosas on

November 17th afterschool in the main foyer in order to raise money for aquarium maintenance. The two main coordinators of this event are Trevor Kwong and Janice Cheng.

money as possibleIf your homeroom raises $100, you will

be rewarded with a civies day (Date TBA)

If the whole school raises $5000 – Ms Westmass will sing a song for the school – Mr. Simmons and Mr. Paonessa will dance a choreographed number.

chooses both the song (out of a list of 10) and adds a dance move.

Father Michael McGivney High School uses almost half the energy of the other facility in the York Region Roman Catholic Separate School Board, and pays $10,000 a year less in annual energy costs.

ceiling space above the classrooms, which allowed the School Board to shave 600 m² from the space for the school's mechanical room, thereby maximizing the grants from the provincial Ministry of Education.
