Getting Started!

Overview

Product Video extension For Magento 2 allows you to add videos to

your product pages. You can add multiple video formats such as

(FLV, MPEG, MP4, JPEG, PNG, GIF and SWF) or embed videos from

popular platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo. You can create video

galleries and attach them to specific products to show video tutorials,

reviews, testimonial or marketing videos.

II. How to Assign a Video to a Product:

Step 1 – Add New File:

To add new file go to the “Manage Videos”. You can enter “Manage Videos” from Admin Menu > FME

Extensions. Click on “Add New File” on the top left to add a new video.

Step 3 – Add Video Information:

You can submit the required fields to add a video. You have a choice to upload a video or to add a URL of

a video.



Step 4 – Setup Attach Video Products:

The extension allows you to select any product on your store where this video will be featured. If no

product is selected (which we did in this guide) the video will be added to every page. Save the video

and go to the frontend demo.



Step 5 – Frontend:

At the frontend your video will be featured like the below. You can go back to the backend and edit this

entry to your liking.

It is highly recommended to backup your server files and database

before installing this module.
