Featuring Mark Edgington local baritone soloist and The Bridgewater Singers, a charity concert in aid of the children of Moldova. A celebration of classical and musical theatre treats that will take you from composers such as Handel and Gounod through to modern classics

such as Les Miserable and West Side Story.

Amount Raised So Far

£280

“Two years ago I had the privilege of travelling to Moldova to work with babies in Orphanages and deprived children in villages. It was an experience that left a lasting impression and I always promised myself that I would go back and visit the children I had to leave behind.”

Mark Edgington

With this in mind staff and students from Priestley College are fundraising in order to raise £3000 so that we can travel to Moldova in July 2014 to personally give them the help they so desperately need. Your money will enable these children to have a small slice of normality that they otherwise would not have. Many Moldovan families have nothing, some do not even have the basics like food and adequate clothing. These famlies live month by month never knowing if they are going to be able to survive. The children in orphanages crave love and attention and we hope to provide a small lasting impression on their lives, so they can experience something that we take for granted.

So please, help us to help them.
