Randy Moore – Sr. Logistics Project Manager
Randy Moore joined Fluor in April 2013 as a Senior Logistics Project
Manager in Contingency Operations (CONOPS) for Fluor Government
Group. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, Randy directs the logistics
requirements for the company’s contingency operations programs and
services, primarily in support of U.S. Department of Defense
requirements.
Randy is a retired U.S. Navy Supply Corps Captain with a distinguished
31-year career leading complex Supply, Logistics, and Information
Technology organizations, including tours aboard two nuclear Fleet
Ballistic Missile Submarines, a Submarine Repair ship, and as the
Director of Logistics and Senior Supply Officer on the USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD 6)
– a Multipurpose Amphibious Assault Carrier. During Operation UNIFIED ASSISTANCE in
2004 and 2005, his logistics teams provided humanitarian assistance and disaster relief for the
tsunami survivors. While supporting Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, he provided logistic
expertise that led to the highest deployment readiness achieved by any amphibious ship
supporting combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Randy has command experience leading the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center at Pearl Harbor,
Hawaii, and served in numerous logistics leadership and program management positions with
military units throughout the United States. He was a Joint Qualified Officer and a Defense
Acquisition Corps Professional with the Information Technology certification and U.S. Navy
Supply Corps Subspecialties in Information Technology and Acquisition and Contract
Management.
Following his military career and prior to joining Fluor, Randy served as Operations Manager for
Amazon. He and his team of supply chain experts led outbound operations associated with
automated flow and sortation solutions – enabling capacity to sort and ship hundreds of
thousands of customer orders/day.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business – Marketing from Jacksonville University
in Florida, a Master’s of Business Administration – Information Systems from San Diego State
University in California, and a Master’s of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from
the U.S. Naval War College – Command & Staff College in Rhode Island.
