Fluke 430 PQ Simulator

For the new Fluke 430 series Power Quality analyzers a demo generator is designed thatshows the main features of this PQ Analyzer without creation of hazardous situations.

This demoboard has the following outputs:

Voltage: - phase 1 Current: - phase 1- phase 2 - phase 2- phase 3 - phase 3- neutral - neutral

The electrical connections with the Power Quality analyzer are made when the demogenerator board is put into the input connector block. No other wiring is necessary.The output voltage of the board is several volts and cannot harm the user. In demo modethese signals will be displayed at the nominal voltage that is selected. (120V or 230V)

This demo generator can generate 8 complete sets of signals;

- steady state with a balanced load- unbalance- inrush- transients- 1 phase non linear load- 3 phase inverter- notching- connection check

How to operate the demogenerator

At the top of the board you find three switches

ON/OFF SELECT FIRE _ _ _

With the ON/OFF switch the board can be activated. The generator is switched on if oneof the LEDs is burning.

With the SELECT switch you can select a memory with a signal set that contains anabnormality. The corresponding LED (M1 ..M7) will be highlighted.

If the FIRE button is pressed, the signal set of the selected memory will appear at theoutputs.When the fire button is released, the generator will show the steady state signal (M0).
