TEACHERS’ ROLE Traditional complaints

I don’t have enough time to plan the lessons!

I don’t have enough time to cover the syllabus!

I wonder what they are thinking of when doing homework!

After Flip90% of time is spent building the lesson.Learning is done at students’ pace but no

longer limited to the lesson time in class. Now I get to see them doing the work,

Timely intervention!

FINDINGS Class is able to complete vast amounts of learning offline.

Additional time is taken up by learning.

BYOD assistance helps level up students / groups that did not complete the pre-learning.

Page 14: Flipped classroom sharing 8 june 2016 amk sec

BYOD – BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE Allow students to gain online access to slideshare via own device.

Engagement in task = less desire to misuse device.

Close monitoring by teacher a must.

BYOD rules board a must.

FLIPPING HAS HELPED US…. More content in shorter time. Monitor in a timely manner the

application (work) done by my students. Harness online resources (tagging) with

less worry about curriculum time.Videos need not be below 10 mins anymore.Latest online data can be used.

More practice time for O Level style questions
