TEACHERS’ ROLE Traditional complaints

After Flip90% of time is spent building the lesson.Learning is done at students’ pace but no

longer limited to the lesson time in class.Now I get to see them doing the work,

LOWER SEC Foundation building Content teaching in class Pre-reading of content slides & copying of notes

Watching content videos as Pre-learning

UPPER SEC Content learning parked offline

Lessons used for clarification & group work

Individual work to end off each lessonTimed exHomework

FINDINGS Class is able to complete vast amounts of learning offline.

Additional time is taken up by learning.

BYOD assistance helps level up students / groups that did not complete the pre-learning.

BYOD – BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE Allow students to gain online access to slideshare via own device.

Engagement in task = less desire to misuse device.

Close monitoring by teacher a must.

BYOD rules board a must.

FLIPPING HAS HELPED US…. More content in shorter time. Monitor in a timely manner the

application (work) done by my students. Harness online resources (tagging) with

less worry about curriculum time.Videos need not be below 10 mins anymore.Latest online data can be used.
