The social networking world all had the original intention of allowing you to reconnect with people from your past and present
taking “selfies” and posting them on social media might not be as vain as it seems..
We rely on others' perceptions, judgments and appraisals to develop our social self.
How we see ourselves in the mirror versus a regular photo is different.
