Situation Flintstones lies in a peaceful position at the end of The Street, a no-through road which leads to the foot of the South Downs. The property lies within the South Downs National Park on the edge of this much sought after and picturesque downland village. Kingston has a pretty parish church, primary school and popular public house.

The South Downs provide a stunning backdrop for the property, with many miles of spectacular walking and riding country. The historic county town of Lewes is about 2 miles, and provides an excellent range of shops and restaurants, together with a mainline station to London (Victoria/London Bridge about 64 minutes).

The A27 lies some distance to the north of Kingston, and provides fast access to the A23/M23,

Gatwick Airport and the national motorway network. The coastal business and entertainment city of Brighton and Hove is about 8 miles, whilst the market town of Haywards Heath is about 15 miles.

There is an excellent selection of established preparatory and public schools in the area. These include Cumnor House, Lewes Old Grammar School, Great Walstead, Ashdown House and Brambletye, together with Eastbourne College, Brighton College, Ardingly College, Hurstpierpoint College, Worth School, Mayfield and Roedean.

Glyndebourne Opera House is about 6 miles. There are racecourses at Plumpton, Brighton, Lingfield, Fontwell and Goodwood. There are numerous golf courses in the area, including the East Sussex National, Lewes Golf Club, Piltdown and Royal Ashdown.

DirectionsPassing Lewes Railway Station on the left, continue to the roundabout.
