• Universal support on mobile never happened. • The industry had moved away from using FLV Flash video to other

more open video standards.• Flash has always been plagued with security issues and is constantly

exploited to compromise peoples computers.• Even Adobe has shifted their emphasis to HTML 5 technologies.• Browsers are either dropping support or disabling Flash content by

default.

• HTML5 is the current web standard markup language• Supported on both Mobile and Desktop without need for plugins• HTML5 Video requires no plugins• HTML5 Canvas can be used for games and animation• A number of HTML5 game engines and animation frameworks exist
