What Does Fit Together Cost?• Monthly memberships range from $10-$40, based on a sliding

scale.

• Deeper discounts are available when members sign up for six months to one year.

• All classes and groups are included in these low membership fees.

• A limited number of scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the sliding scale.

With a body hobbled with lumbar arthritis and other ailments, and a mind preoccupied with a notion my former zest was now lost, I was preparing for even more assaults to my quality of life.

Serendipity and support from my medical team, with a referral by the Star Light Center, were the factors of grace that led me to my present status. I have left some thirty pounds of weight, along with my former resignation to never regaining my sharp medical and mental status, on the floors at the Fit Together. My cane is now relegated to the back-bench of use, and I have increased clarity, focus, attention, and a significantly improved optimistic mental status . . .

I now plan on reviving my dormant tennis game over the winter holidays, and plan to take my 'young bride' to the dance floor to engage in disco and ballroom dancing on my 64th birthday in May 2013. Partners Achieving Lives of Strength (PALS)

PALS is an exciting new program that matches volunteer exercise partners with Fit Together members who would like extra support and companionship during their workouts. • Volunteers are recruited from local

colleges and surrounding community.

• Support their partners by meeting 1-2 times per week at Fit Together to socialize and exercise together.
