HOW TO BECOME A COMMERCIAL PILOT To get your first flying job with an airline as a first officer you need:

The training program is in accordance with the requirements of State Government Civil Aviation Authority and Transport Canada. GENERAL COURSE LAYOUT Our International CPL/ IR (ME) course is described in detail; International CPL/IR (ME) Professional Pilot Course (200 hours). A total of 200 hours flight training is provided :

Private Pilot License PPL. Commercial Pilot License CPL. Multi Engine Endorsement ME. Instrument Rating IFR. Time building.

Total instrument time in this course is 40 hours, which includes C152 and multi engine instrument time (aircraft & simulator) including approximately 20 hours flight time in a multi engine Piper Seneca. We endeavour to fly as much as possible in actual Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) as this is important to build confidence and operational capability. Students are able to practice approaches applicable to their own geographic area on the flight simulators.

STEP 5: CPL Flight Training:

35hrs. Dual and 30hrs. Solo (Steep Turns-720 deg power turns, Stalls and Spins, Chandelles and Lazy Eights, Eight and Pylons, Simulated Emergencies, Unusual Flight Attitude recovery, Emergency Flying w/ref to instruments, Cross-country Flight Dual/Solo, Introduction to complex or multi-engine airplanes, Performance and Characteristics, Simulated Emergencies, Normal/ crosswind/soft/short field T/o and Ldgs, 2 hrs Final Check.)

STEP 6: Ground School on Multi Engine Aircraft Piper Seneca.

STEP 7: Multi Engine Flight Training: 10 hrs. Dual PA – 34 (Basic Flight Manoeuvres, Steep Turns, Slow Flight, Stalls, Ground ref Manoeuvres, Normal/

Crosswind/ Short/Soft field T/o and Ldgs, Precision Approaches and Ldgs, Unusual Flt attitude recovery, 1.5 hr Final Check).

STEP 8: Instrument Flight Training and Instrument Rating:

10hrs Duel PA – 34, 10 hrs Duel C152 and 20 hrs. Simulator (Basic Attitude Instrument Flying, Partial Panel, Unusual Attitude Recovery, Emergency Procedures, VOR Navigation procedures, NDB Navigation Procedures, Localizer Course Tracking Procedures, VOR and LOC Holding Procedures, DME and Intersection Holding Procedures, VOR/NDB/ILS Approach Procedures, Partial Panel Non-/Precession Instrument Approach), 2 hrs flight test.

STEP 9:Time Building to complete 200 hours

30 hours of time will be built in cross country flying gaining the required experience and time necessary to complete the 200 hours.
