Guest Pastors January 26 Reverend Dr. Ellis Robinson February 2 Rev. Miles Cook February 9 Rev. Jim Johnson Youth Activities January 26 Paint wooden toys for Earthbound Angels. February 1 (Saturday) We are planning to go to Crystal Bridges to tour the North Forest Lights display. (There will be no youth group the following Sunday.) February 9 Jubilaon Bells play in worship. Youth fellowship and membership will help prepare lunch, help serve and clean up. (Youth group will not meet that evening.) February 16 During the Sunday school hour we will bake cookies and take them to Fire Staons number 1 and 7 to recognize our local heroes. February 23 We will paint a wall in the youth Sunday school room and stencil our names on the wall. February 28-March 1 Snoasis at Camp Couchdale, Hot Springs, AR There are opportunies for you to give your me and talents to the youth by providing a small meal, to pre- sent a devoon or just aend a meeng and hang out with a bunch of outstanding young members of the church. John “When Jesus Calls Us” This week, Rev. Dr. Ellis Robinson’s sermon will look at what it means to be a disciple called by Jesus. He asks, “What are we called from and to? What are the sacrifices required?” These quesons point toward a life- long call. Join us at 10:00 am on Sunday! First Blankets Blessed Rev. Dr. Nadine Burton, GRRCC Execuve Minis- ter, offered a blessing on our first set of blankets this past Sunday. These were contributed by Nina Abernathy, Linda Creekmore, Mickie Mathews, and David and Judy Trent. Lula Hanson made the cool labels that we will be stching in to all that we share in the community. Five of these are promised to UAMS West, and we will contribute the others to agencies who work with children who are in the care of the state.
