First Class A FAA Aviation Medical Certificate

1. To start the application process for obtaining a First Class A FAA Aviation Medical Certificate, go to https://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/medical_certification/get/

2. Click on MedXPress linkin the center of the site.

3. At the start of the application, disregard “Application For”. You do not need to

make a choice for that part. Under the heading for Class of Medical Certificate Applied for, be sure to choose “1st”.

4. Complete the remaining application as required.
