May 6, 2012 Sermon Notes A Commencement Address for All of Us

Ecclesiastes 12:9-12

Welcome to First Baptist Church. Some of you are here for the very first time. We have been pray-ing for you to experi-ence a real worship encounter with God. May it be that God speaks to every single one of us! If this is indeed your first time to be at First Baptist, please take a mo-ment to fill out the guest registra-tion. You may either put that regis-tration slip in the offering plate or bring it by the Information Center. Volunteers will be there to visit with you. We are recognizing our High School graduates this morning. Please be praying for this group of fine stu-dents who are making a major life transition. Let’s pray that they will be spiritually strong as they move from one stage of life to the next. As we begin to be very quickly mov-ing toward the summer, please help us prepare for Vacation Bible School. The dates are June 4-8. Be praying and be inviting elementary age children whom you know. Teachers and volunteers, you have a preparation meeting this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Please be considerate of the organizational effort and be present at this meeting. Please join us tonight for our annual concert from the FBC Orchestra.
