It is time to plan Sunday School Class Christmas Parties! Sunday, December 4th at 5:00pm is reserved for parties! Feel

free to have it in someone’s home, maybe do a gift exchange or play games! Make it simple or

elaborate! Food is always a nice addition! Just let the church office know what your

class planned.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Your gift enables limitless missionary teams to make disciples and multiply churches

among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God. IMB missionaries are fully

funded through generous support to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which ena-bles them to remain focused on their minis-try and not regular fundraising to remain in

their ministry field. Our church goal is $11,000

We are suddenly in the Holiday Season. May I encourage you to participate in all the great worship experiences we have planned for the coming days. Each one is designed to celebrate the joy of our salvation. Take this as an opportunity to invite someone to worship with us. People are very interested in cel-

ebrating Christmas. It is the time of the year when you can hear songs about Jesus in the stores and malls. So, let’s invite people to hear the Can-tata and Children's Christmas Musical. Let's invite people to be with us on the Sunday before Christmas. I am going to be preaching a sermon about the theology behind Christmas. (Remember 2016 is the Year of Theolo-gy.) I will explain why Jesus came in the flesh. So, do your best to invite someone to be a part of that great service. On Christmas Day OBU col-lege student, Drake Boyce and I will be sharing about Bethlehem. It is a 10:00 service. It will be an informal time, but it will be a worshipful time. Bring your family. Bring your friends. It will be a wonderful time of celebration. The music is going to be great. It will make Christmas Day a true Christ worshiping day. (That is what Christmas means.) Just like the shepherds on the first Christmas Day, "Let us go straight to Beth-lehem and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has make known to us." Hope to see you at all our special holiday services, but I especially want to encourage you to invite someone to join us for these great worship and celebration times. Blessings, Dennis
