Replacement ticket scheme

If your season ticket becomes lost orstolen you should report this to thepolice and the office where you boughtyour ticket immediately, we will thenconsider an application for a duplicateticket.

There is an administration charge whenwe issue a duplicate ticket.

Our Replacement Ticket Scheme offersone replacement ticket during the lifeof your ticket. However, in the case oftheft, robbery, fire or other exceptionalcircumstances we will allow a secondreplacement if the loss of the first orsecond loss have been reported to thepolice, the fire service or anotherappropriate body.

We will not issue any more than two duplicate Season Tickets in any 12 month period under anycircumstances.Replacement Ticket Scheme charge:Student Year Tickets - £30Other Charges Defaced or damaged tickets will onlybe replaced on production of the oldticket and receipt (First Year or FirstTerm) and an administration charge of£10.00 will be payable. Student Photo Cards will be replacedon receipt of £10.00.

We advise you to, where possible, ensure that your ticket is insuredagainst loss or theft through your household insurance policy. We do not issueduplicate tickets in respect of lost or stolen weekly or monthly season tickets.

RefundsIn special circumstances, First Term and First Year tickets may be refunded at ourdiscretion, on production of the card andoriginal receipt.

Refunds will be subject to a £20.00administration charge and will basenumber of weeks/months not used at thecurrent First Week and/or First Month priceless any initial discount you may havereceived.

As the cost of the season ticket has beencalculated to allow for annual holidays, thevalidity period will not be extended forperiods of non-use due to any holidays orsickness.

Tickets in excess of three years old willnot be considered for refund.

Using Your Season TicketA season ticket is issued subject to theCompany’s regulations and conditions;these may be viewed at any companyenquiry office or travel shop and is subjectto the following special conditions:• Photo ID must accompany StudentSeason Tickets.

• The Season Ticket is valid only in thespecific area, up to and including theexpiry date shown.

• Season Tickets must be produced foreach journey taken. The ticket is nottransferable.

Passengers not in possession of a validseason ticket and matching Photo card (ifapplicable) for the journey beingundertaken may be liable to pay a standardfare of £30.00, the ticket withdrawn, andprosecution proceedings instigated.

The ticket remains the property of First andthe company reserves the right to refuse toissue, renew or withdraw any season ticket,at any time. An expired, defaced, illegible oraltered season ticket is not valid and will bewithdrawn.

The ticket does not provide any priority ofplace over any other passenger whether onthe bus or in the queue, nor any right totravel on any particular journey.
