Final Challenge Awards:First place: 1 $1000 award use word tierSecond place: 3 $500 award Third place : 6 $250 award
Participation is calculated with the total number of students, parents/guardians and school staff that tracked during the Challenge period, March 1 to
May 15, divided by school enrollment.
Breakout awards throughout the challenge:
Nevada Moves Day: One $250 award given to the school with the highest percentage of participation (registered and tracking) on Nevada Moves Day - March 18. Award will be announced on Monday March 23.
Get Fired Up Award: Three $100 awards during the fourth week of the challenge (March 23-27) for any K-8 school with 10 or more participants tracking at least one activity so far during the Challenge will be entered into a drawing.
PTA participation award: One $150 award given on April 10 for any k-8 school with 10 or more PTA parent partici-pants tracking activity on or before April 6 will be entered into a drawing for a $150 bonus award.
School staff award: One $150 award given on April 24 for any k-8 school with 10 or more school staff/teacher partici-pants tracking activity on or before April 20 will be entered into a drawing for a $150 bonus award.
Reflect and Reward $100 Drawing: During the final week of the Challenge, participants are invited to submit a short paragraph about how Fire Up Your Feet has benefited their school. All submissions will be entered into a drawing for a $100 award. Please send paragraphs to [email protected]. are i
Let’s Move Active Schools Award: Schools that have registered with and developed an Action Plan for Let’s Move Active Schools and have at least 10 participants tracking activity for the Fire Up Your Feet Challenge will be entered in a drawing for a $500 award.
PeopleforBikes Award: Clark County School District schools active in the Fire Up Your Feet challenge will also be eligible to win the national PeopleForBike awards. A $500 PeopleForBikes award will go to the top three schools nation-ally with the highest percentage of participants tracking bicycle activity. A total of three $500 awards are available; limit one award per state/region. In Nevada, bicycle activity will be tracked for the April 13 to May 15 portion of the challenge to
coorespond with other markets.
