Fire Pit Regulations 

Natural gas, propane and wood fire pits are allowed in the City of Louisville and the  requirements and examples are listed below. 

Fire is in an approved container Fire is located 15 feet from combustibles or structures Flame length is no more than 2 feet high The fire is no more than 2 feet in diameter No burning of trash, leaves or other yard debris Be sensitive to your neighbors in regards to the smoke emission IF WE GET CALLED OUT AND FIND THE FIRE TO BE UNSAFE WE WILL ASK THAT THE

FIRE BE EXTINGUISHED.
