A fire hose is a flexible high pressure hose or tube used by fire fighters in order to carry water or other fire retardant (e.g. foam) under pressure from the source of supply to point of discharge that is fire to extinguish it. It can be permanently attached both indoors and outdoors. When outdoor, generally it attaches to fire engine or a fire hydrant. Whilst indoor, it can permanently attach to a building’s piping system.
