Survey of attitudes on welfare data

Carried out by TNS Gallup Forum’s web panel with more than 40,000 respondents producing different kinds of research samples.

The research data represents Finland’s population aged between 15 and 79. A special group among the target group includes those who have been diagnosed by a doctor as suffering from at least one or more chronic illnesses, or whose close friends or relations have (N=698). Professionals from the social and health fields were interviewed as the second target group (N=319).

The survey was carried out between 21 and 28 June 2016.

The survey was taken by 2,019 people representing a cross-section of the population. In the additional sample for social welfare and healthcare professionals, there were 319 respondents. Answering the questions took about 13 minutes. The confidence interval for the total result was +/- 2.2% and for the additional sample +/- 5.5%.

The survey data has been corrected in accordance with the respondents’ gender, age and area of residence, in order to correspond to the population data of the target group.
