FINE MOTOR MONSTER CUTTING PRACTICE Thank you for downloading our free printable Fine Motor Monster Cutting Practice activity. Prior to introducing this activity I highly recommend giving kids the opportunity to cut freely with scissors and scrap paper. This free cutting practice can give kids the freedom to experiment without worrying about missing the “lines.” As kids are better able to control the direction of scissors and follow a line this monster creation can be a fun way to incorporate scissor practice. DIRECTIONS Print the monster “hair” cutting cards on paper in a variety of colors. Cut apart so there is one card on each section a child will hold. Then let kids freely cut “hair” in a variety of ways. To finish the monsters choose: Option 1: Color selected monster “body”. Then glue on “hair.” Option 2: Cut out simple monster body. Color. Then glue on hair and additional cut strips for arms and feet. Option 3: Draw monster body on blank page (or glue cut paper shapes). Then glue on “hair” strips. Prior to introducing this activity I highly recommend giving kids the
