Students must have an assignment book, laptop, pencil, and previous night’s homework for each class.

Despite having 2 teams, students will see each other through various interdisciplinary activities:

All students will be given a laptop to utilize for school work while at school and at home.
The laptop must come to school everyday with the student.
Student will keep the laptop until the completion of 8th grade.

Laptop must remain in its case. Laptop must be charged each night. Laptop is to be used only when directed
by teacher for schoolwork. Students should carry any pens or
pencils in the front compartment of the laptop case, not in with the laptop.
Use care when carrying the laptop. Books or binders should not be carried
on top of the laptop. The pressure can crack the screen.
Be sure to shut down your laptop completely before you leave school or home.
Most often a restart will solve issues with the laptop. In each building there is a Technology Associate and
Student Tech Team to help handle issues. If the student has a question about the laptop
please ask.
An annual fee of $50.00 can be paid to the District. The fee can be paid online through Pay4It or by a
personal check. If a family chooses not to participate in the Accidental
Damage Program, the family will reimburse the district for the cost of the repair.
Hardware repairs needed will be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
The laptops will aid the students in utilizing 4 C’s in learning:
Collaboration Communication Critical Thinking Creativity
Students will be provided with an orientation tothe new laptop. This will include instruction on computer literacy skills.
Laptops are filtered both in school and at home.
