GENERAL MANAGEMENT

6107 CHIEF EXECUTIVE Responsible for the overall management of the banks/ company. This is the most senior level position. 6156 BANK PRESIDENT/BANK MANAGERResponsible for overall management of the bank. Oversees the operations of the bank, including commercial and consumer lending. Represents the bank and provides leadership in key community activities to maintain a proper citizen stature for the bank.6009 BRANCH MANAGERAdministers the operations of a branch office. Represents the bank and provides leadership in key community activities to maintain a proper citizen stature for the bank.6160 ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGERManages day to day operations of branch and maintains outside customer relationships. May also be called Branch Operations Manager or Branch Supervisor.6165 REGIONAL BRANCH MANAGERResponsible for the administration and coordination of the activities of a large group or region of branch banks. Provides advice and guidance to branch banking managers. Reviews and recommends objectives, policies, and procedures for a specific group or region of branches engaged in lending.6025 MANAGEMENT TRAINEE Generally, a recent college graduate with limited or no previous work experience. The Trainee should not be in training for a specific job. Should be in a general training program which allows Management to assess the management potential of the Trainee.6123 MARKETING DIRECTOR Directs the development and execution of bank marketing policies and programs. Determines market opportunities and requirements for existing services, new services and new fields of endeavor. May also plan and prepare advertising material. 6167 PROJECT MANAGERAssists in institutionalizing the operational processes and procedures in preparation for taking on additional custody relationships. Works closely with outside vendors to ensure accuracy and data integrity of converted custody relationships. Analyzes service trends and satisfaction levels. Solicits feedback from customers to determine ways to improve processes and procedures. Reviews and documents all back office operations. Develops and implements new processes and/or procedures. Typically requires

bachelors degree in Finance and 1 year experience working with trust accounting systems and back office operations.

6130 HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Directs the Human Resources program for the bank. May have responsibility for some policy development, however, total personnel policy is developed through consultation with either top management in the bank or through a corporate personnel function.6129 HUMAN RESOURCES EXECUTIVEDevelops, maintains and administers personnel management programs encompassing all aspects of personnel relations. Responsible for policy formation for staffing, compensation/benefits, staff development and succession planning. Incumbent must spend 100% of time in personnel responsibilities and must set personnel policies. This is the highest level human resources position.6166 CHIEF LENDING EXECUTIVEDirects loan operations of the financial institution. Plans, develops, and establishes policies and objectives of lending function. Directs and coordinates activities to implement institution's policies, procedures, and practices concerning granting or extending lines of credit, commercial loans, real estate loans, and consumer credit loans.6115 CONTROLLERResponsible for the bank’s financial records and reports and an accounting system that provides financial controls and financial data relative to earnings, costs, budgets and trends. May also be responsible for bank investments.6161 CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICERThis is the highest level financial position in an organization. Reports to the Chief Executive Officer. Directs a large staff of supervisory, professional and support personnel engaged in receipt, disbursement, safekeeping and expenditures of money, capital assets or securities. Manages the entire range of financial activities of the organization including treasury, budget, tax and accounting functions. Establishes major economic objectives and policies. Maintains effective relationships with lending institutions, shareholders and the financial community. Prepares budgets, financial forecasts and cost analysis in the areas of income, expenses and earnings. Serves as part of the top management strategic planning team. May be responsible for functions such as information technology/systems, human resources, real estate, or legal. Responsible for the bank’s financial records and reports and an accounting system that provides financial controls and financial data relative to earnings, costs, budgets and trends. May also be responsible for bank investments.

AUDITING

6004 AUDIT CLERK II (SENIOR)Performs assignments and duties under the direction of the Bank Auditor to assist in the execution of the auditing program. Conducts and engages in auditing of accounting procedures for the bank and associated branches. At prescribed intervals, examines original entries and supporting documents. Prepares working papers and reports for periodic audits and assists in performing these audits. Personnel assigned to this classification will audit a broad phase of the bank’s operation and perform assignments with a minimum of supervision.6102 AUDITORConducts independent audit projects to review effectiveness of controls, records, and operations. Analyzes data obtained and prepares reports and recommendations. This is a fully trained journey level position.6142 CHIEF AUDITING MANAGERPlans, directs and maintains internal bank audit program. Evaluates controls established to safeguard the assets and control liabilities. Recommends changes to eliminate weaknesses in procedures from the standpoint of control. Keeps abreast of latest trends in auditing field.6143 COMPLIANCE SPECIALISTUnder general supervision, responsible for the coordination and completion of all government, regulatory, and compliance documents for all business units in an organization. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.6148 COMPLIANCE OFFICERFormulates and maintains a compliance program consistent with all applicable laws. Trains bank personnel, implements changes, develops and maintains manuals, monitors environment. Sets up and monitors internal controls with auditor when possible, and acts as an information source.6083 FRAUD INVESTIGATIONS SPECIALISTResponsible for the investigation of fraudulent, illegal, or improper activities by employees and/or customers of the organization, and the prevention and recovery of losses caused by such activities. Conducts or coordinates investigations of fraudulent, illegal, or improper activities that could cause losses to or claims against the organization.6168 OPERATIONAL RISK ADMINISTRATORWith senior management, participates in the development of operational risk management policies and procedures. Directs/maintains the development of Risk and Control Self-Assessment program and reporting. Facilitates discovery and the analysis/trending of data elements feeding key risk indicators and predictors to develop business

intelligence. Assists in the data mining for analysis of significant risk exposures. Typically requires a bachelors degree and 5-7 years professional level experience processing technical knowledge and/or a range of processes and systems.

CARD SERVICES/AUTOMATIC TELLER

6005 CARD/ATM SPECIALISTProcesses and services merchant accounts for Master Charge, VISA and/or ATM by handling bankcard supply requests, complaints, general record keeping and work flow of the credit card system. May prepare deposits and monthly statistical reports for certain high volume merchants.6103 CARD SERVICES MANAGERDirects and coordinates the functions of the bank card department including collections and fraud control areas. Manages revolving credit portfolio to maximize profitability.

FINANCE/ACCOUNTING

6001 ACCOUNTING CLERKUnder minimal supervision, prepares a variety of complex reports. Requires a thorough knowledge of bank accounting procedures. Must know procedures and regulations pertaining to all reports and must have a knowledge of the accounting system used.6169 ACCOUNTANT, STAFFUnder limited supervision, analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and/or projected company financial position(s). May establish, modify, document, and coordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. Typically uses standard spreadsheet and database software or an accounting applications package designed for general accounting. May direct and coordinate activities of other accountants and clerical workers performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years of experience.6101 ACCOUNTING MANAGER, GENERALThis is a first-line supervisor. Develops and maintains reliable accounting information concerning income, expense, assets, liabilities and capital as a basis for management planning.

SALES/LENDING

6074 PERSONAL BANKERSells consumer banking products and services. Services account relationships. Cross-sells all services of the bank. Originates consumer loan product applications. Provides efficient and courteous customer service. 6106 BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVESells financial products and services to assigned banking customers and prospects. Works to increase the bank’s share of market among targeted segments through prospect solicitation and acquisition.6110 COMMERCIAL LENDER I (JUNIOR)

Makes and services a variety of commercial loans; assists senior officers in handling larger and more complicated loans, and provides other customer services as may be required. Operates with limited credit authority. Usually handles more routine accounts.

Provides subordinate officers with functional guidance. Handles all but the most complex accounts and works with significant lending authority.6113 COMMERCIAL LENDING MANAGERResponsible for the commercial loan portfolio. Establishes departmental lending policies. Develops and maintains interest rate structure. Prepares lending activity reports for bank management. Authorizes or rejects credit requests which exceed the lending authority of the Commercial Lender handling the loan application. In larger banks (asset size: 100 million) this may be a multi-incumbent position reporting to a more senior commercial lending position. 6118 CONSUMER LENDER I (ENTRY) Responsible for smaller or more routine consumer loans and/or line of credit applications.
