In fall 2014 we awarded $31.4 million to first-year students, and a total of $89.9 million institutional gift assistance was awarded to all entering undergraduate students.

Now is the time to take the next step toward making the best investment possible in your future. Grounded in the liberal arts, a Hofstra education provides the foundation for a life well lived. Plus, research† shows that those with a bachelor’s degree will earn 84 percent more – almost $1 million – over a lifetime than high school graduates.

At the core of the Hofstra University experience is individualized attention. The campus is large enough to offer world-class resources, but you won’t get lost in the crowd here. In your first year, you’ll be assigned a dedicated advisement dean as well as a student financial services counselor. And when you choose a major, a member of our faculty will mentor you.

This personal attention carries into the classroom. With an average undergraduate class size of 21 and student-to-faculty ratio of 14-to-1, you can expect your voice to be heard.

You’ll also have access to an active, thriving network of more than 128,000 successful alumni who can help you build the confidence and connections you need to reach new heights.

Enjoy the benefit of living and learning on a beautiful, lush campus that is within easy reach of New York City and hundreds of internship and career opportunities with leading businesses, arts/media companies, nonprofit organizations, and government institutions. At Hofstra, you’ll get the traditional campus experience along with the adventure, cultural resources and real-world applications of an international metropolis.

Hofstra University works hard to make a private college education affordable for you and your family, and offers several financial aid options for new undergraduates, including interest-free payment plans and a money-saving four-year locked-in tuition rate that can help you manage costs from admission through graduation (hofstra.edu/lockedintuitionrate).

Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make. A Hofstra degree gets you results.
