ATHENA training approach

The ATHENA training service supports three types of training:● Delivery that is bound by place and time, such as classroom

training and instructor-led training.● Delivery that is independent of time and location, such as

Web-based courseware that the learner can access anytime, anywhere.

● Delivery that is bound by time only, such as instructor-led, synchronous virtual classroom sessions, where a tutor guides the learner through a session over the Internet.

Page 9: Final Review Madeira / 28. March 2007

9AIDIMA / © ATHENA Consortium 2004

Web-based Training ● Web-based training is accessible and executable via the

ATHENA Learning Platform (SAP Learning Solution) and other Learning Management Systems.

(SCORM compliant) from PowerPoint.● Text-to-Voice Synthesizer tools to rapidly transform

explicative text of courses into digital voice.

● Response: ● The recommended document was prepared, and delivered as

part of D.B6.4b – Annex B● Recommendation D.B6.4a.2: The not yet finalized materials

for Web-based and Classroom-based training need to be made available to the reviewers before the final project review.

● Response: .● All materials were finished
