Please do not distribute, lend or copy this Tutorial and don’t mass produce it. Please always give credit to the designer. This lesson shows you how to make two pairs of Cuff link. It is very easy to make them. This tutorial has 3 useful tips.

Materials -One Sterling silver 12x6mm saucer bead. -Two Sterling silver 10x6mm saucer bead. -The bar of a toggle clasp. -4cm (approx. 1.6”) of medium commercial chain.

-Three large head pins. -Three little rings (optional). Tools -Round nose pliers. -Flush Cutter. -Ruler. -Chain Nose Pliers.


*Making the first cuff link. You need a 1cm chain, a bar toggle, a 12x6mm saucer bead and a head pin.

Step1.-Attach the 1cm chain to the bar toggles.

Step 2. - String the 10x6mm saucer bead on a head pin. If the chain is soldered finish it in step 3. If the chain is open continue steps 4 through 6.

**If the chain is soldered

Step 3. - Attach the saucer bead and the free end of the chain. Make a closed loop.


**If the chain is open

Step 4. - Make a close loop.

Step 5. - Open one ring of the free side chain and attach it with the saucer bead.

Step 6. - Close the ring.


Step 7. - Repeat steps 1 through 6 to make the other cuff link.

*Making the second cuff link.

Step 8. - Repeat steps 2 using two Sterling silver 10x6mm saucer bead and two headpins.

Step 9. - Repeat steps 3 through 6 with both Sterling silver 10x6mm saucer beads.

Step 10. - Repeat step 9 to make the other cuff link.


Appendix. Tip 1. - To convert cm. to inches. Divide cm by 2.54 Example: 4 cm. to inches. 4/2.54 = 1.57 inches Tip 2. - To convert inches to cm. Multiply inches by 2.54 Example: 2 inches to cm. 2 x 2.54 = 5.08 cm. Tip 3. - 1cm is 10mm.
