FIKILE LEGALAMITLWA Leadership and Management Facilitator, Pearson Marang Education Trust Fikile joined the trust on the 15 th June 2015. He attended the annual District Seminar and the induction of newly appointed facilitators across the country that was held at Sunnyside Park Conference Center and Hotel, Johannesburg, from the 13 th of July to the 23 rd July 2015. It is from these two events that he came back to North West with a clarity of focus pertaining to his role in assisting under-resourced schools to achieve and perform optimally. The position also involved training and mentoring of educators in the teaching and assessing of English, methodologies and teaching strategies.

As an IQMS coordinator, he has trained schools on IQMS implementation through correct interpretation of Resolution8 of 2003. This entailed correct designing of IQMS Management Plans, School Improvement Plans and the implementation thereof. He assisted schools in identifying and recommending relevant intervention strategies in order to address areas that needed improvement.
