Since I have graduated in Jan 2018, I would like to take this oppor-tunity to thank His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emir-ates, Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, and President of the Universi-ty of Sharjah for providing me full scholarship to pursue my PhD degree. Also this success was not possible without the support of Chancellor of UoS, Professor Hamid M.K. AlNaimiy during the whole period of my study. Special thanks to College of Engineering Deans (Prof. Sabah, Prof. Maleej, and Prof. Nidal), Dr. Fikri and my department chairs during the period of my study. Sharfuddin Ahmed

The Doctorate The Doctorate journey at University of Sharjah has allowed a more comprehensive approach. Being part of the first PhD Dual De-gree between University of Sharjah (UoS) and École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Mon-treal Canada, have provided great opportunity gaining an added value research perspective. Yousif Ibrahim Al Hosany

The program provides the students with high-level research skills in the field of engineering management this allows them to play leadership roles in the industrial/service organizations as well as in the governmental insti-tutions. The program also prepares its graduates to be active researchers or academics and to work in the higher education institutions or in research organizations
