Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Mothers and all who share their maternal gifts with others.

Peace and Easter Blessings Fr. Kenneth J. Malley

Happy Mother’s Day! Take a moment to thank your own Mother for

the gift of life! There will NOT be a LIFE NIGHT this weekend. Spend the evening with your Mother and family. We’ll resume next weekend with our Senior Class Appreciation Dinner.

Pre-Registration Forms for stu-dents attending Religious Educa-tion classes this year and who will

be returning next year are now due. Arrangements may be made to accept these registrations for yet another week. Since our last day of class is May 17/18, we would appreciate having all pre-registrations finalized before then. We congratulate the 27 young boys and girls who received their First Holy Communion at a special Mass on Saturday, May 9th. This is indeed a joyous occasion for the children, their families and the Par-ish. We are grateful to our Pastor, Fr. Malley, Fr. Krzysztof, the Director of Religious Education, Carla Lamont, and our Catechists, Bob & Mary Dull. Our prayers and best wishes are offered for these children and their families for every needed grace and blessing.

Please join us in prayer as we ask for God’s guidance and protection of our troops, espe-cially those from Saint Catherine’s parish: John Carabetta, Allan Guiel, Mike McGinley, Thomas J. Voytko, Peter M. Clark, Jonathan D. Someck, Ryan Patrick Cahill,

Ryan Miklinski, John Barnes, Robert L. Garcia, Donovan Bardega, Jeff Wilder, Patricio Lanas, John Lawson, Daren Kolofsky, Ben Izzo, Jeremy Gardner, Jared Pahutski, Christopher Bruinsma, Kevin Warren, Casey Hengstebeck, Robert Schueck, Mr. & Mrs. John Cunningham, Amanda Harvey, and Sam Youseff.

Bishop’s Annual Cookout for Inquirers and Seminarians June 3, 2009 (location tba)

6:30pm — 8:00pm

Each year at the beginning of the summer, Bishop Lynch hosts a cookout for our seminarians as well as for those who are looking into the possibility of the priesthood. It is a very informal setting in which everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature and to see what is involved on the road to priesthood. We pray evening prayer together and reflect on what it is that God is asking. For more infor-mation or to reserve your spot, please see Father Malley.
