The take-off...

The ‘Fiets en Wandelbeurzen’ –Cycling & Walking Fairs– are unique. They mark the start of the new cycling and walking season in the Netherlands and Flanders. Exhibitors come into contact with 35,000 enthusiastic recreational cyclists and walkers. Dozens of lectures and workshops, information markets and a big indoor bicycle-testing track completes the event, the largest of its kind in Europe and possibly even in the world. And the Fair has the wind in its back: an ever-growing number of people are walking and cycling recreationally during their holidays.

Het startmoment...

De Fiets en Wandelbeurzen zijn uniek. Ze vormen de start van het nieuwe fiets- en wandelseizoen in Nederland en Vlaanderen. Exposanten komen er in contact met 35.000 enthousiaste fietsers en wandelaars. Tientallen lezingen en workshops, informatiemarkten én een groot indoor fietstestparcours completeren het evenement, dat het grootste in zijn soort is in Europa en mogelijk zelfs in de wereld. En de beurs heeft de wind in de zeilen: steeds meer mensen gaan in hun vrije tijd of op vakantie recreatief fietsen en wandelen.

Our visitors differ from those to similar shows. They are on the lookout for specific information in a targeted way and are genuinely interested in the offering of exhibitors. They want concrete information about the opportuni-ties for cycling and walking holidays in countries and regions, are interested in outdoor kit, bicycles and accessories. Always ending up in a personal conversa-tion in which visitors can ask questions and expect a direct and informed answer.

Het juiste publiek

Onze bezoekers onderscheiden zich van het publiek van veel vergelijkbare beurzen. Ze gaan doelgericht op zoek naar informatie en zijn oprecht geïnteresseerd in het aanbod van exposanten. Ze willen concrete informatie over fiets- en wandelmogelijkheden in landen en regio’s, zijn geïnteresseerd in outdoormateriaal, fietsen en -accessoires. Altijd draait het om een persoonlijk gesprek waarin men vragen kan stellen en direct een deskundig antwoord wil.

Concept

The ‘Fiets en Wandelbeurs’ offers a complete programme. The successful concept rests on three pillars. Volunteers provide impartial advice at info markets about destinations and material. There is a comprehensive programme of contents including a lecture and workshop programme with dozens of presentations. Running alongside this, there is the offering of commercial exhibitors. From destinations and package holidays to outdoor clothing, (electric) bicycles, hiking and trekking footwear, back packs and GPS devices... Literally ‘everything that recreational cyclists and walkers need’, can be found on the exhibition floor.

‘Cycling and walking are the future’

Concept

De Fiets en Wandelbeurs biedt een compleet programma. Het succesvolle concept rust op drie pijlers. Vrijwilligers geven op informatiemarkten belangeloos advies over bestemmingen en materiaal. Er is een uitgebreid inhoudelijk lezing- en workshopprogramma met tientallen presentaties. Daarnaast is er het aanbod van commerciële exposanten. Van bestemmingen en arrangementen tot outdoorkleding, (elektrische) fietsen, wandelschoenen, rugzakken en gps- toestellen... Letterlijk ‘alles’ wat fietsers en wandelaars nodig hebben, is op de beursvloer te vinden.

Your own stand, standard stand construction, a fully fitted out stand or a ‘custom built’ stand to your own specifications. The choice is yours. We take your wishes into account as far as possible in putting together the floor plan for the exhibition. For smaller companies and organisations there are highly affordable places in ‘Collective pavilions’.
