What are you waiting for? Discover a new Exploreum where fun and education come together to make one fantastic field trip. A visit to the Exploreum sparks an interest and love in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. We even integrate art into our learning opportunities, fulfilling our commitment to “STE(A)M” education. We are dedicated to sparking the curiosity of every learner. How can we complement and expand the great job you are already doing in the classroom?

Let your students have an Exploreum adventure. New major exhibits in 2015 include those on Dinosaurs, Chocolate, and Space Travel. Let us tailor an adventure to any of our permanent or changing exhibit galleries. Then add a Discovery Demonstration in any of our three labs, and the experience is deepened.

Next, add an IMAX theatre show (pick the one you want) and watch a new world and new concepts capture your students’ imaginations. Or, book a visit with Albert Einstein! (Hurry, these spaces will get filled fast.)

More than 150 hands-on science exhibits in three permanent galleries, themed educational programming, and dedicated staff and volunteers are waiting for you.

For more than thirty years the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center has collaborated with you, our professional education partners, to enhance classroom learning and open a world of discovery. It is my pleasure to present you with options for your students. Let us work with you to fulfill your perfect field trip experience.

Please look over this guide and make your selections. Planning to go to more than one place in a day? We can help you with your lunch plans, too. Or, come to the Exploreum for a full-day. We would love it.

My staff and I look forward to seeing you,

Jan McKayExecutive [email protected]

Learn more about the skin

you’re in and how to live life to the fullest

by making healthy choices. At the core of

good health is personal empowerment. The

My BodyWorks gallery and healthy lifestyle

programming urges visitors to test their

physical fitness, explore whole systems, and

learn about food for life. Sir Isaac Newton’s first

law states that a body in motion will remain in

motion, and a body at rest will stay at rest. My

BodyWorks serves as the catalyst that sets

those bodies in motion.

Designed for the smallest

of our scientists, the Wharf of Wonder

is a learning adventure for kids ages 0-6.

Pre-kindergarten teachers can reserve

a unique Wharf of Wonder field trip that

includes hands-on activities and special

programs for our youngest explorers.

Scratch Factory is a Project STE(A)M experience, focusing on

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, The Scratch Factory will allow

students to use problem-solving and critical thinking skills as they work independently

or collaboratively on creative activities. This Project STE(A)M concept will be an

ever-evolving and organic place born from the idea that playful invention cultivates

curiosity and innovation.

Welcome to our physical science playground, where kids and kids at heart will love to push, pull and

tinker with the science all around them! Hands on Hall focuses on simple sciences

including basic physics, magnetism, probability and simple mechanics.

Students have so much fun that they don’t even realize how much they’re learning.

*Galleries may change based on traveling exhibits.
